OVERVIEW
These two beautiful cities (Delhi & Agra) are famous for beautiful historical monuments and rich traditional culture of India. You will experience these two cities with us for 02 Nights & 03 Days. Both these cities have seen the rise and fall of many empires evolving through a rule of Tughlak's, Lodhi's, Mughal's and finally the British empire. Delhi is the capital of Mughal's, British and independent India. Agra is admired for one of the wonders of world i.e. Taj Mahal.
Day 01: Pick up from airport / hotel / your respective place at Delhi
Your pick up will be arranged from Delhi airport or from your respective place. Our
company representatives will greet you and transfer to hotel. Check in and take rest
or some refreshments. Meet our professional tour guide who will take you to for the
sightseeing where you will visit Jama Masjid (Mosque) - This great mosque of
old Delhi is the largest mosque in India, and then visit Red Fort. Later visit
RajGhat which is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. En-route visit
India Gate, President's House & few other Government buildings.
Lunch - At local or / at a 05 star hotel's restaurant
Proceed for lunch after visiting India Gate, to a local recommended restaurant or a
05 star hotel. (One has to inform in advance, so that we can book the table on your
name at the restaurant of a 05 star hotel). Just after enjoying your lunch, visit
Qutub Minar which is the tallest stone tower in India - under UNESCO world
heritage site. Visit the famous Lotus Temple also known as a Bahai House of
Worship. Visit the famous Tomb which is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi
called the Humayun Tomb. In the evening, you are free for leisure activities at
hotel or else enjoy shopping at local market. Later, return to your hotel for overnight
stay at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi to Agra
You need to check-out after the breakfast & leave for Agra, city of love, via Yamuna
Expressway which is approx. 02:30 Hrs. Drive in an air-conditioned & comfortable vehicle.
Reach Agra city, where you will meet our professional tour guide who will greet &
welcome you. Check-in your respective hotel & take rest.
Start your Agra sightseeing tour and visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, which is popularly
also known as baby Taj and is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra. The tomb of
Itimad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
Proceed for experiencing the beauty of Taj Mahal during sunset from MehtabBagh
across the Yamuna River. By evening, you are free on your own or you can spend this time
at hotel or enjoy shopping of local hand-crafted art of Agra. Return to your hotel for
overnight stay at Agra.
Departure from Agra to Delhi
Check-out from hotel after enjoying your breakfast. Then visit Taj Mahal which is
one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Proceed for a great demonstration of Marble Art,
where you can experience the same technique of marble art done on Taj Mahal. Also visit
Agra Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage sit. The fort is also known as Lal Qila.
Explore Local Arts and Crafts / Museum* (OPTIONAL VISIT)
You are free for the leisure activities on your own, where you can discover the local
shopping market, OR ELSE, you may experience the famous museum cum gallery which is
established in 1845. It houses a breath taking collection of Mughal Art / Jewellery /
Embroidery and Antiques. Here, you can observe/participate with the Master craftsmen
demonstrating the famous embroidery(zardosi) work. It is fabulous experiences which
surely transfers you into the Mughal era.
*One has an option to choose from the above or can leave to Delhi.
Drop (Delhi) at your respective place i.e. Hotel/Airport
In the evening you will be dropped at your receptiveplace at Delhi.
